You can ground right to the seat bolt. Or look on the side of the transmission hump about even with the cupholders. On each side is a ground post. There are already two or three ring terminals on it. Just add the amp ground via a terminal.

So I now have it all wired up. I went through the firewall on the driver side. This couldn't have been any better for 4 gauge...thanks!

I ran the blue remote cable to the cigarette lighter (on the left). Everything sounds great, however, every time I turn off my vehicle and close the door that particular port receives a spurt of power for approximately 10 seconds then turns off. In return, this supplies my amp a signal via the blue remote cable and my subs vibrate for those 10 seconds. Any idea on how to correct this? Thanks in advance.

BTW: I installed Rockford fosgate 4 gauge amp wiring kit, Rockford fosgate 1000 watt amp, and 2 12” alpine type r’s. Obviously this is way too much bass. I intend on building a custom box for 1 of the 12”…that is unless you all know where I can buy one. Thanks again.

Neatly tie wrapped the wires to the existing screw hole just before wires run down to the battery and to the fuse box. Use Fuse box fuse No. (M8). Its empty and turns on and off with your car. Put the blue wire in the negative side of the fuse plug (driver side) and use a 20 fuse. Run your wires along with the existing wire casing along the passenger side of the Jeep. If your using a line output converter tap into the sub speaker wires near your passenger side (back seat) and after connecting electrical tape the whole converter to the existing wire casing. From there just run the power wire/amp wire/and RCA under your carpet to where your amp and speakers are located.
Regarding "use Fuse Box fuse No (M8)" - how do you access the fuses inside the fuse box???
Have you got to pull the Fuse Box apart to do this, or is there a real easy way?

Sterl: Get an Add-A-Fuse from your local parts store. To get the wire into the fuse box just (Carefully!) drill a hole in the side of the fuse box near the top. Push the wire through then seal it with some RTV.

Tap the PINK/WHITE wire in the small connector on the left side of the steering column. Unlike the power outlet ... this turns on and off with the ignition without a delay.

Cool. Thanks. I'll try that once I get out of work. I really need to find a custom single 12" box that fits the 2 door. Does anyone know where I can find one or am I going to need to build one? Here is how it looks now. I plan on reducing the current setup down to 1 sub...I just need the box.

Im still struggling with the idea of space requirements for that many subs... unreal.

Im going to try getting the wire through there tomorrow. Right now its stretched tight across the firewall, and tight down the floorboards.

Not a good setup

Thanks for that; is this pink/white wire the one that is right below the steering wheel to the left (driver side) in the 5 pin connector?

Thanks
