Default Need HELP with Double Din DVD install - Wiring

Hello All,

I just purchased a JVC KW-NT1 and need help figuring out this wiring scenario. I have the C2R-CHY4 Radio Replacement Interface and the JVC Wiring Harness. Does anyone have a write up on how to assemble these two harnesses together?

Also, and don't laugh (I am obviously new and want to learn something new) but... I've looked everywhere for how to ground a wire. I understand the reasoning behind grounding but cannot understand where and to what.

So if any of you could be of assistance I would greatly appreciate it. Attaching picture would be an even greater help.

Thanks

To ground a wire you just attach it to some metal framework of the Jeep, or another black ground wire on the Jeep harness.

connect to the ground wire in the jeep. Did you get a metra harness? It should have a ground wire on it. Just wire to that and plug it in. For 12v+ IGN wire I would just splice into the ciggy lighter. The rest of the harness should just be a matter of matching the colors from your head unit up to the harness. then you just plug it into the jeep. Ive done this on a couple JK's, let me know if you need help.

EDIT: nvm, I see you have the PAC. You only use the chysler plug, not the other one. It is the only one that will fit on the plug in the jeep. In the pac website photo it is the one on the right. Use this: http://www.pac-audio.com/PACProductD...ons_060809.pdf

With the PAC harness will you still need to tap in to a 12v power source to power the unit, or is that covered with the harness?
