Default Need help with a kill switch

tried searching for some info but there isnt really any out there.

any way im looking to add a kill switch to my spal fan as im constantly being asked to turn off my jeep at drive thrus and stuff, kind of annoying, plus i want to be able to kill it when i hit mud and water, this is more for protecting the blades than it is the motor.

so whats the best way to do this? can i just go pick up a switch at an auto parts store a just wire it in series with the power lead to the fan?

Whats the correct way?

Maybe find the ground side of the fan and run it to the cab with a switch, then you just have to ground it inside instead of running a wire back to the fan. You would need to find out what wires go to relays or ecu that controlls fan. See if it just makes ground to start fan or if power is supplied to make it run. Though I beard these run a can bus system. I do have a wiring sheet for jeep if you need
