Default Need help with Lightforce Lights...

About a week ago I got my Lightforce 170 HID lights mounted up by the windshield and my first impressions were...WOW! They definitely light up the night a ways down the road. So it's been about a week or so and all of a sudden my drivers side light is starting to give me some trouble. When I turn the lights on the passenger side turns on and will stay on till I turn it off but the drivers side turns on for about two seconds and then just turns off and won't flicker or anything. There is a little bit of buzzing coming from the ballast but only noticeable if you actually put your ear up to it. I have tested all connections and know it's getting power. Oh and I did not put together my own wiring harness, I bought the supplied wiring harness offered by Lightforce. If anyone could please shoot me in the right direction of getting these amazing lights back up and running I would really appreciate. Thanks for the help!

Swap the lights then swap the ballasts. It could be a problem with either of those or the wiring to the driver side.

alright I tried switching the lights and still no luck with the drivers side so now I've got it narrowed down to the wiring. What I don't understand is that in about 1/10 times of flicking the lights on and off, the drivers side light will finally come on and will work perfectly. Would it be better to just replace the ballasts in the wiring harness? Any advice at all would be much appreciated. Thanks!

by switching the light you are saying light and ballast or just light and not the ballast ?
do you run separate ground for each ballast ?

Working 1 out of 10 times is probably a bad or flaky ballast.

I called up Lightforce earlier today and explained my situation and they told me to just send everything in and they would replace it all free of charge without any questions asked. Glad to know there are company's out there that stand behind their word. Thanks for help guys!
