What was the delivery time on that? The site says two weeks

 

I'm sure it's probably about that, but I got fine from a member here who had a like new one he wasn't using. Either way, it would have been worth the wait.

 

For those of you whom have this mounted and playing from the larger port at the bottom of the iPad, how do you control the volume? When I plug it in, it acts as though it is being docked, and I lose my volume control.

 

Did you figure that out? Cause im about to order one?

 

No hoping someone will chime in here. I see them doing it on the vids on YouTube, but the only way I see that you can is if you use the headphone jack on the iPad, which really isn't an option with the cop mount without some customization

but yes using the the headphone jack is part of the equation - on my head unit, I just run a 3.5 jack to jack to the Ipad --- there's no customization needed, just run the wire out of the left side notch and loop it back to the Ipad....

I use my iPad 1 for lol updating stuff on my JK by using the JK forum app it's a awesome app I've ever had for a vehicle instead of going through the stupid browser to load stuff on forums

 

I ordered my iPad mount on February 2nd from COP 4x4 with estimated 2-3 weeks delivery. I had emailed them two weeks before hand and no answer but orders it anyway. They gave me an user name and password for the site and now not only does it not recognize the password but when I ask to send me a new one it doesn't recognize the email I used to set it up. To top it off I call the shop and the voice mail box is full and it hangs up on me.

Wtf????

 

Just took a look at the COP website. What exactly are they providing here for $240?
