Try V-Cockpit GPS i think this is a lot better just to many features also available in a lite version.

I just use the head phone plug. As far as apps go Pandora is the bomb, you dont need to use your hard drive space or money for music just type in what you want to listen to and it streams for free. Also their are a number of GPS programs that let you plot and upload your trail runs, very useful. I have a 2 year old so I have a ton of games and movies that keep her busy on long rides to the trails. If you have a mac I can instruct you on how to put your dvd's on the phone for free. and the google app lets you do web searches by voice so you don't have to type.

MotionX-GPS is pretty good too. I tried it a few months ago. You can save trips and view them on google maps. Here's a little trip I took a few months ago. The link is good for around 10 days I think.

Wow...just had (slightly) larger tires installed and checked speedo with ihud. Pretty cool. My other vehicles all showed about 3 mph faster than ihud idicated and I had suspicioned that. The jeep with stock tires was 0.5 mph faster than ihud.
Measured the new rubber and used a superchips to change the computer and it indicated 2 mph slower than ihud. REprogrammed the computer dropping the tire size down 1/2" and voila! Now my speedo is dead on with the ihud.......like I said pretty cool!

I looked @ vcockpit and it is cool. I have to admit I was a little overwhelmed. Ihud was on sale for $1.99 so I went with that. The HUD really isn't that good (I can't see it in the daytime) but the speed measurement sure seems to work!
