Default New JK switch panel from Simple Solutions

Something I had promised a few members on these forums to post once the manufacturer had updated their website. It looks pretty slick. I'd love to see one of these on my dash!

At the moment, it appears the panel is sold as a complete package (BS molded plastic dash replacement part with 5 user programmable switches, 12 adhesively backed plastic switch labels including 4 blanks, wire harness, Underhood Command Center, mounting hardware). Picture below. Out of respect to the JK Forum rules, the company's direct internet link is not listed but a pic is below. Simple Solutions makes the part.

That is sweet. Think I could make one of the switches a "blackout" switch that shuts off every light from dash panel warnings to brake lights?

That dash panel does look pretty good. Not $450 good. The price tag isn't too much of a surprise though. It is a complete drop in system. All you have to do is run your lights, compressor, etc to the Command Center and be done. Putting the switches there is kind of genius. As far as I know, no one has ever done that before.

The $400 price tag really turned me off from this. They have these crazy switches that have rotary options or some crap. Cant they just make a simple one with simple push switches? Why does everything have to be over engineered?

Yeah, this seems over engineered - especially when the company tag line says they keep things simple and limit user control to what matters. Plus, 1st switch is a winch and isn't a toggle - you have to depress a button in the back and then hold the switch in. If you don't have a winch, you're down a button. Now you're $450 in for 4 switches.

You're right on about it being a "drop in" system. That's why the price tag is so high. I love the fact that that they locate all the wiring to a single spot under the hood but it might be nice if they offered a stand alone panel-only option.

Yea I agree. If they offered a panel only option with ACTUAL simple switches, I'd order in a heartbeat.

Is there enough room for the GPS/compass unit under there?
