Default New LEDs

I purchased two 24 inch led lightbars from
M&R automotive
http://w ww.MandRonline.com/
I used a CARR Rota lightbar and locked it in the down position. Ill be wiring them tomorrow and posting pics.. I am kicking around getting their 50 inch lightbar as well its a great light for that price range.

What is the lens made out of? Is it glass or polycarbonate? And I'm curious as to why their LED's have a life span of 30000 hours where rigids get 50000... Don't get me wrong for the price it can't be beat but I'm wondering how the overall quality control is on these and other similar (budget friendly) LED bars actually are that seem to be popping up lately.

The gentlman told me that it is polycarbonate and not glass as glass would not be safe. I have personally been thru two snows storms and taken them thru two car washes in the past week in lovely colorado and and can say so far so good as far as quality and durability. As far as 30,000 compared to 50,000 I doubt I will see the end of the lifespan of these lights anyway and like you said the price is right.

This is good to know considering that I can't justify 2 grand for the rigid, affording it isn't the problem its the fact that I only use the damn roof lights when I'm in pitch black situations or I'm off road and that's too much money for minimal usage. But for $600 it seems WAY better. If you don't mind throw up some in cab night shots if you get a chance please.

Interesting... you'd think they would have more info (lux, construction, etc) and pictures of their products on the site

just finished sending them an email about having a 50" in the OffRoad version instead of the strange looking version that doesn't mount with the 2 screws....lets see what they say. Hopefully they can swap out the mounting system or else Rigid gets my $$$ again...
