New Speaker Replacement Notice from Jeep
Hi All,
I took my jeep in today for a wind noise fix and they told me that jeep just put out some memo on replacing the speakers with newer ones due to poping noises.
I had that issue dealt with along time ago from the TSB issued in the spring but all that did was lower the limit of the output of the stereo.
Well when I got it back, the low range bass was definitly back and no poping at all like I had when new.
I would take yours in to see if there is the same deal for you.
Cheers

I have only had my Jeep for a month and have not experienced any popping sounds??
Did this occur after sometime or after programming changes with the vehicle's my gig?
Just concerned this may creep on me as well.

TSB. (OF course I'm not sure if what you're seeing would show tsb's too, or just "recalls")
Recalls are safety related and VERY bad press, very pricey, etc etc.
TSB's are "optional" fixes.

Oh ok. That makes sense. I may just swing by the dealership and ask about it. I have to go by there and get an oil change anyway.
