Default Newbie trying to upgrade...

I recently got my new front bumper installed. Looks great but the lighting kit that came with it is a little cheesy. It has a hookup to the battery with an inline fuse in the harness. To make it even better there's a small push button switch already tied into the harness. Not sure what these guys were thinking, but I guess thats what you get with a free kit.

My question is this: Can I use the lights that came with the bumper and tie them into the foglights next to the headlights? I'm hopng that this is possible, but electrical in cars in NOT my strong point. And is there a good manual out there that addresses electrical? I NEED a reference book!!

Thanks everyone,
Jim

Safest bet would be to hook up the harness, cut out the switch, and use the old OE fog light circuit to trigger the relay. Need more info to decide if you could tie the lights direct. Lights need to be less than 50 watts each to even stand a chance. And the older Jeeps usually handle this better than newer.
