No Bus Error
Glad it worked out! One little piece of gunk (technical term) in the wrong spot can cause a lot of havoc.
I used to go Europe a lot for my job, but now that I'm retired I don't fly anywhere much. It got old. BUT, a free dinner might make me reconsider!

I think I have celebrated too soon - the problem came back while driving.
...and then it went away, then back, then away...
Luckily is not a catastrophic fail. Engine and brakes (and brake lights) work well.
The indicators stop working, but I am originally from southern Italy and use of indicators is optional (and often frowned upon).
The horn stops working, but people tend to stay clear from a huge Jeep full of mud and scratches!
The instruent cluster stops working too, but I put Jscan on trail view to check speed and water temperature.
This weekend I will have to do more investigations

Hi AZJeeper, just a quick update.
The problem never came back. Also I have been replacing all "suspect" connections (such as flickering headlights, poorly wired turn signal, horn connection kept together with electrical tape, etc ..). Hopefully it's sorted.
Going off road next week end ...we'll see.
