No Sound from MyGig
This happened to me several times within weeks of getting my Jeep and the dealer replaced the MyGig system. Now my new system is doing it already, after only a few weeks. It is like everyone is saying, come out an hour later and it works fine. If the problem is fixed by re-seating fuses, that seems rather odd. Going to dealer on Monday to see what they say, one more time and I am invoking lemon law.
I believe it is a software glitch that causes the intermittent lockup. Kinda like early versions of any release of Microslow Windows .....
I the TSB done on my Jeep this past Saturday. Since then, no speaker rattling and no lock-ups.

Hey guys, the fuse thing is legit. I've had to go in and pry out the fuse spaces for several fuses. I had the same problem with my A/C going on and off, and I had some problems with the cigarette lighters too.
The volume has happened to me once as well but last night my display did not come on. You could hear the radio and the touch screen worked but the back light did not come on. Went in and had diner and all was working again on next startup.
I will re-seat the fuse and hope it doe not happen again.

I have an 07 Sahara with premium Infinity system (no Mygig) but this problem keeps occuring approx. 3-4 times per month. When I turn on the ignition no sound but the head unit is functioning. Sometimes turning off the ignition and restarting works but not always. I can never recreeate the problem for the dealer. I have reseated the amp fuse to correct or just ignore and the problem usually corrects itself later on. But it is annoying to have the problem keep appearing. Has anyone with this recurring problem found a permanent fix? I haven't had the crackling sound problem so would the related TSB help?
I have had this problem as well with the audio not working. When you push the menu button the audio controls button is not highlighted so you can't even adjust settings like bass and treble. Then upon turning it off and starting it up again it comes back. I've only noticed this problem on cold startups when it's cold (at or below 36 degrees). It doesn't happen all the time when it's that cold but the only times it has happened was when it was that cold. It's only happened twice and I've owned it for 5 months and put 12k miles on the vehicle so it doesn't occur too ofter but when it does it is really annoying!!
One of the times I was trying to show it off to someone who hadn't seen it. I was very frustrated!

I just wanted to update the thread, That since I had the TSB for the cracking/popping done I still have not had any errors with the audio and the MyGig.

I've had my jeep for 3 weeks now and lost sound as stated by all above, three times during the first two weeks.
The first time was the night I got it home (Freaked me right out!!!). I called the dealer and the GM (of all people) was the only one in the place with a suggestion.
He said it happens, just pop the fuse wait for a few seconds and reseat it.
That worked. BTW I have not had any speaker issues (pops, clicks, etc...)..
I also had issues with the backlight on the display. I set the display setting from day to automatic and the next morning I couldn't see anything. I actually remembered where the settings were, went into the menu (still black screen) and reset to day settings and my display came back.
I've had no issues this past week...
I will be installing a mic and software update this weekend.
One note: MyGig is a computer and as such the operating system (OS) can be and often is buggy. Everyone who has a MS operating system knows that. Let’s hope the manufacturer comes out with software upgrades as they figure out the issues. So far from everything I've read they are trying.
All in all I think MyGig is pretty cool technology.... and you can add all kinds of 3rd party goodies...........
