Default Northridge 4X4 IPF Headlight kit.

I'm sure if my search skills were better, I could find the answer to this.

I've decided to get the kit and some type of protective film to help ward off rock chips to the lights.

1. Quadratec protective film : http://www.quadratec.com/products/97002_000X_PG.htm Any good? Anyone want to point towards something different/better?

2. What is the difference between blue and white lamps? I know I've read something about it somewhere, but not sure where.

Thanks

I can't help with the film as I've never used it, but regarding the bulbs, the blue tinted bulb may appear to be brighter but it's not, so blue = bad, white = good.

I had a local place install "rock guard" film on mine. Has been working so far!

Are the new lenses the same shape as the OEM ones? I was thinking of upgrading but I have the rugged ridge light guards installed and want to keep them.

Hey Wayne - they're flatter. Come over and have a look at mine.

That sounds weird now...

Hahaha. No worries Bill. Are you happy with the output? With the sun setting earlier here I'd like to add some "cheaper" extra lighting without breaking the bank. Did you order the blue of the white lights? Thanks.

I had the RR Light guards with my OEM lights, and transfered them over when I installed my IPFs, no problems, they worked fine.

I'm super happy with them. There was no choice of blue or white back when I ordered. I think they have a bit of a blue tint, even when they're off.

Default Very happy with them

Just installed a set last night. 30 minutes, everything fit perfect. I'm thinking a little bit of a blue tint, but the wife says it's "not yellow" that i'm seeing. she's happy, it's her jeep, so i'm happy. the light pattern is fantastic compared to the stock ones. I highly recommend them.
