Default Oddity with Superchip instillation

So a few weeks ago I installed my superchip 3875. Initial views, NICE upgrade. However when I was installing it I had two messages pop up which concerned me but I went past. One was NOBUS the other was HOTOIL. Both come on, one at a time and one during the install and the other afterwards.
Then this past weekend I went down some trails and the HOTOIL light came on again. My question is...what are the chances the superchip made those errors? Could it be something wrong with the port? I checked the oil when on trail and it was not hot like you would think, it was only warm. The temp gauge for rad was ok and never went past half. I honestly don't think it is the chip but wanted to throw that out there.
My rig is a 2008 automatic 3.8 that was in 2H up a good grade at about 10-15 mph. It is lifted with a OME HD and has 33" tires. It does not have an extra cooler but will soon due to this just as an insurance policy.
Any other thoughts? If so how would I go about checking those thoughts?
Thanks,
Xodius

NOBUS is normal when the Superchips is in the processes of Flashing the ECU.

You checked the wrong OIL the hot Oil warning is for the Automatic Transmission Oil. If you are seeing that warning light on the dash it is because what ever you were doing at the time you should have been in 4-low and not 2-high or 4-high. But honestly the best fix it to have an aftermarket transmission cooler added to the factory cooling system and you will never get that warning again. Espically since you live in Las Vegas. Those hot summer temps are going to bake your tranny if you forget to put it into 4-low again.

I figured if I can get through in 2H why not. Perhaps I should revisit this thinking though. I am going to be installing a aftermarket cooler very soon. IMHO the $50 or so dollars is a great insurance policy.
