Default Olympic Windshield Bracket Antenna Bend

Anybody running Olympic Windshield Brackets? Did you have to bend your antenna? Talked the spousal unit into PIAA 520s but she doesn''t like the idea of having to bend the antenna. (Jeeesshhh) I like the uprightness of the Olympics (like the Kcs) and the fact that they are set out further to the side (unlike the KCs). If you have them, do you like them? Thanks

slide a closed end wrench over the antenae and bend to angle of windshield!
start the bend just above the body seam

i have no more issues with it hitting my lights or windshield.

I have the smittybilt and did the antenna bend (10 mins with a couple of pliers) The hardest part is getting the angle of the antenna to match the angle of the windshield.

You can kind of see the angle in this one.

Thats kinda my point. Dont do the bend! Do the "antenna rotation mod". And then do a shorty!
