Default Which outlet for power source?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't one of the outlets provide continuous power from the battery, and the other only when the ignition is on?

Which did you use to power accessories?

Depending on the accessory, I think it might be nice to have it work even if the Jeep is off, but I'm always paranoid that I'll leave it on and drain the battery.

Left one is on when the engine runs, the Right one is 'always on'.

My phone charger is in the alway on, and XM/iPod is on the other. phone charger doesn't always have something attached, and if it does, it shouldn't kill the battery.

Other things i'll have an additional power source run which would be only powered while engine is running, but I'll do a write up on that sometime soon.

I'm thinking of items that are permanently installed, like a CB or GPS, etc...
Not too worried about my cell phone or iPod that I can move at anytime.

I'm sure it draws little power so I'd guess a pretty long time.
