I installed the 9.807 update yesterday and everything seemed to work properly. However, my contacts never made it from the phone to the mygig. I have the iphone 3G and was wondering if there was anything else I needed to do to get my contacts into the mygig. I really dont want to input them all by hand. Any help would be much appreciated.

I also have an iphone 3g after pairing the phone all my contacts were transferred , try this the phone has to be present on and paired, Press menu >my files>my address book> My playlists> Then page down you should see a folder containing your entrees. If they are not there the phone may need to be set to allow the transfer.

i also have 3G iphone and same problem.

paired, folder listed but no contacts in it. i have tried everything i can find and not working.

I also cannot find a setting on the phone that allows this to happen.

Any help?

 

Don't ask me why, but I just returned from lunch and when I got in my JK and turned on the mygig all my contacts were there. I guess just by posting on this great site the mygig knew it had been beaten and gave in by giving me my contacts!!!! Thanks JK-Forum!!!!

 

Mygig's are that way it seen an ass kicking comeing, Glad it worked for you there is a step that you can take in the Engineering menu to request a transfer from the phone, As far as telling the phone that it is ok to send the info I am not sure where is is.
