Default PIAA 520 series lights? are they all the same?

I purchased some PIAA 520's with the ion yellow lenses and put them on my JKU.
I didn't know they were yellow until I installed them, I dont really need the lights (cuz I never lead...) and actually dislike the yellow light.
I want bright white light from the jeep.

I have been thinking...

I enjoy my jeep, but what I really do is race motorcycles (Road, dirt and ice, go IceHoles!!!).

Every winter I haul a 24' heavily loaded enclosed race team trailer (really, freakin heavily loaded) about 950 miles each way, in the middle of winter, across 2 mountain passes (cascades and rockies) with my diesel 4x4truck.
Loads of night driving, depending on the weather (Its never the same year to year) we get rain, snow, ice, ice patches, fog etc...

I was thinking the yellow lights might be perfect for seeing better on that trip.

So,

can I just by a 520 bright white kit and pull the yellow ion lights from the jeep, install the new bright whites lenses on the JKU re using the switch/relay/harness and re use the yellow ion lights on the new supplied relay, switch and harness for my tow rig?

This forum and its members have been a huge resource of jeep information for me.
Thanks in advance!

Oddly...
I have owned several nice 4 wheeled vehicles, usually "tow my bikes" rigs. (cant haul motorcycles in a car...)
I have never really been "into" 4 wheeled vehicles.

I freaking love this jeep!

Thanks again!

Thanks again.

I have the 520 ATP lights and love them. most of my driving is on suburban and rural suburban roads however. As far as I know, the relay and switch is the same for all 520 series lights. you should be able to plug the new lights into the existing circuit and use the old lights on you pick up with the new relay, etc.

Yes the relays and switches are all the same. As far as I can tell, the housings are identical and you would probably just need new lenses and the white bulbs. I would call Piaa and ask them though. I run 2 sets of 520's, one set are the ion crystal fogs, and the other are the ATP's, and love the combination of light

Everything is the same. Just a different lens construction for different light patterns and beams

The fellow posters have answered the relay/ housing/ bulb question quite well. The Yellow Ion are AMAZING for snow and fog. They pierce right through and you don't get all that glare off each single snowflake causing a wall of White infront of you like normal white lights.

Yep. I'm installing some sort of yellow ion fog lights in my jeep. I think the 510s in the factory holes.
