When installing to windshield, did anyone have to cut the plugs and rewire the lamps? It turns out my 540's were the vehicle specific for the dodge ram, the light is basically the same so I'm trying to make it work. Did yours have the big plastic connectors at the lamp?

 

Just cut them off and splice them into your new harness. I don't trust those cheep plugs anyway.
