PIAA light switch
I just looked at a more detailed wiring diagram http://www.mysporttrac.com/mysporttr...dOEMswitch.htm and it looks like what I tried should have worked.
It is starting to appear that something is broken.

yeah it is basically the same . Thanks for your help. I sort of feel like taking a %%^& hammer to those damn lights as it really shouldn't be difficult at all to wire the lights.!

I am trying to wire some 520s using the Daystar panel and switches.
this is what I am thinking.
cut off the PIAA switch
White wire to power out on the switch
Black wire to Ground on the switch
White with Red dots to the power in on switch.
White runs to relay
black runs to ground(with the relay ground, or by itself)
White/Red goes (in theory) to the Hi beam wire (in practice to a switched fuse on the panel)
Is my thinking correct?
I am trying to wire some 520s using the Daystar panel and switches.
