Whoa whoa whoa. Before you get all crazy ripping a wiring harness out that can be a pain to install in the first place be sure to check the fuses! Both of my lights came with a fuse. I have blown both messing with the battery. Simple process of replacing a fuse and they work again. I would check that before doing anything drastic.
