I would like to down load what I've got on "My Music File" to a flashdrive and then to my lap top (Windows 7) so I can manipulate the songs into play lists and rename some. Then redownload them to the HDD.

The only way to do that is at the dealership, they can do this with a Starscan tool.

Don't attempt to remove the HDD from the MyGig and plug it into a PC. The minute windows boots up it will write files to the HDD that will render your MyGig useless.
