Default Power issue.

I posted a few weeks back my new jeep wouldn't start. My battery was dead and I jump started it and it ran fine. Well I have not ran my jeep in 4 days and the battery is so low that the gauges don't even come on. Obviously taking it under warranty but why would a brand new jeep be having power issues so bad that it drained dead?? Not even able to power gauges?

I would think something is either pulling a trickle, iPod or cell phone charger or you have a bad cell in your battery.

I would take battery someplace and have it tested before you get to dealer.

Well my iPhone is the only thing I use my power outlet for and the cable is left in but my phone is always taken out so no power there. The only thing I think it is, is one of 3 things:
1.best buy put a system in and new amp a remote power wire was not put in and the amp is staying on. I will check this in the morning and see if power is getting to the amp with my multimeter.
2. The battery has a bad cell
3. And most likely Not it, bad alternator and the battery isn't getting the charge it needs.
The battery had 2 volts before I jumped it, I mean dead. Running on its own after the jump it has between 14.29 and 14.34.

I left a bluetooth-to-fm transmitter plugged into the lighter for 3 days and it killed my battery. If you have an amp that is staying on it would kill your battery very dead in 4 days. Do that enough times and it will destroy your battery.

start with the amp and if you have drained the battery three or four times it prob has a bad cell take it to a local auto parts store they can test the battery and your charging system for free in the parking lot.
