Default Power outlets not working right. Need help.

Fuses are good. Just changed them to new ones. I have an '08 Rubicon unlimited. The left outlet which according to the manual is supposed to always be powered is only carrying power when jeep electrical is turned on by putting key in ignition and turning electrical power on or starting the jeep. The right power outlet which is supposed to work when jeep is running will not give power at all. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

On my 07, the left outlet is accessory switched. The right outlet is continious. Think you have some confusion there.

For the one that doesn't work, ( fuses are good ). Probably a bad outlet.

Looks like you're right about the left vs. right. I could swear the manual said it was the other way around but research is saying otherwise. So, it looks like I must have a bad outlet. Anyone know how "expensive" the part is and how hard it is to change yourself?

Check the plug before u replace the outlet. The lil plug in the back of them tend to come out sometime, I've had it happen to the one in the center console of my 2011

It may be 3 years late, but here's your fix for a busted JK 12v outlet where the fuse is still good:
