Has anyone removed the power window switch and replaced it with a Metal Toggle Switch?
I was thinking of mounting 2 safety switches below my window switches. I thought it may look odd having two plastic switches then two industrial switches.

From what i can tell if
7 - WDO - Window Up Pass(when up this is V+, and nomraly Grounded)
3 - WDO - Window Down Pass(when down this is V+, Normaly Grounded)
13 - WDO - Window Down Driver (when down this is V+, Normaly Grounded)
14 - WDO - Window Up Driver (when up this is V+, and nomraly Grounded)
Then i should be able to pull the ground and ignition
12 - Power - IGN_RA - F30
4 - Ground Z910
Tie them into a DPDT with center OFF momentary contact. One for left and one for right and use this to reverse the polarity on the motor.
Anyone have idea or suggestions? feel free to chime in. Once i finish i will make a writeup for it.

I stole this from another forum member.
Attachment 119927
I'll take a volt meter and check polarities of the wires when the switch is activated.
Switch Up= +12VDC
Switch Down= -12VDC

Hey All,
OK, I have a 2008 Unlimited, the Rear windows stopped working. Fronts are fine. I first unplugged harness at doors, cleaned and rehooked up, that didnt do it. I then did a little more online looking. I ended up just purchasing a new 5 gang switch window switch and replaced the whole window switch cluster, figuring that had to be it.... I plugged it in and NOTHING.... rears still dont work even with the rear switches. Any help would be great!!!! Thanks
