Powering down when door opens
In my 2007 JK Wrangler, when I turned off the ignition the stereo, accessory plug and power windows all use to remain active until I opened the driver's door. Since upgrading my stereo however these components now remain active when the drivers door is opened, they do however deactivate when opening the passenger door.
Have I somehow switched which side the car is monitoring or do both doors normally deactivate the power and my drivers door has just stopped working? I just can't remember if the passenger door used to disable the power or not.
Note: I am in Australia so the drivers door is on the left side of the vehicle.
