now that the temp is rising I want to take the top and doors off but I'm worried about the radio's security.

Does anyone have any proximity Car Alarm Recomendations like the Viper alarms?

What kind of price am I looking at on such a unit?

Will it disable the security features put in at the factory?

the radar(proximity) alarm can be installed on any alarm.it not included in the alarm.it usually runs about 75 dollars extra.viper alarrm start at about 200 dollars and goes up from there.good luck

Nope! You have to add an aftermarket alarm.
