Question Question about Dually Spots on a switch.

Wiring freaks me out but I am going to be hooking up my new Dually Spots on my A pillar. Some questions that I have would be:
1. Are there really any good reasons to still have the lights on a switch if I am going to hook them up to come on with my brights?
2. How do you hook them up to run off your brights?
3. If you were to have them hooked up to your brights and a switch, then accidentally turn on the switch with the brights on would you then fry the lights with 2 hots going to it.
Sorry if it’s a stupid question but as I know next to nothing about wiring the only way you learn is by asking. Or trial by fire and I don’t have that kind of money.

1. This mounting position is for Off Road only. So you run the risk of meeting the law enforcement if you run these lights on the road.
2. Best way.

3. If wired correctly. No issues.

Hi all very good information, I am wondering what kind/size diode do you use and also on the diagram, where do the OEM wires go and the accessory wire go? I don't see how the bright lites will trigger the aux lites. Do you have yours hooked up for when you turn on your Brights the KC lites come on?
Oh and I just ordered the 6" KC long range lites for my bumper bar.( I see you have them on your jeep as well. How do you like them? I have the KC driving lights and they really do not do a good job at all. Thanks for the help.
