Mine worked great. Never had any complaints just adjust the settings on the amp.

I agree. If all you're doing is filtering the low freq's out of the back soundbar speakers & sending them to a sub, it won't sound good. Your stock deck doesn't have near enough power to drive a sub.

You'd be better off getting an aftermarket HU with 3 pre-outs, an amp & a sub. That way, you have total control over the sub from the deck. It's more money, yes, but I don't think you're gonna like the sound coming from what you plan on doing.

yeah i know about system i had a 150db system in my other suv, i just didnt want to get rid of the stock headunit.....
