Sounds like one or both ballasts are leaking RF.

1. Disconnect one light at a time. Not the bulb. Remove power from the entire HID system. Figure out if it is the left or right or both.
2. Is this a name brand system? Or a cheap knock off?
3. Did you use relays connected to existing Jeep wiring? Or were they plug and play to replace existing bulbs? Or is this a total new add-on thing?
4. Most HID systems are designed to be installed close to the lamp housings. Are any components of this HID system mounted rear of the bumper?

its name brand system. head lights are bi kits. fogs are single digital ballast.both are digital i believe. its plug and play. and connections i made are soldiered. its definately the headlights and the fogs. everything works fine except the radio noise. seems to get less as they warm up. i think your right about the rf... but how to get rid of it??? some sort of noise filter??? is there a noise filter i can put inline for the antenna wire???

A noise filter on the antenna wouldn't do the trick. It appears one of the ballasts is "leaking" RF. If you have a few short pieces of wire try grounding the entire ballast casing.

Does each light cause the noise individually? If you purchased them locally you might be able to switch them out for a different ballast. And, unfortunately most places do not take returns on electronic parts. Explain the situation and see what they say.

yes i get some interference, more CB than FM however. I could run a ground wires that will keep the RFI to a minimum, but it's not a real worry to me.
