This is an Xenon kit i came across on ebay

YOU WILL GET (2) H13 BULBS FOR LOW/HIGH BEAM, (2) H10 BULBS FOR FOG LIGHTS, (2) 3157 BULBS FOR TURN SIGNAL, TAIL LIGHTS, (2) 194 BULBS FOR SIDEMARKERS LIGHTS, LICENSE PLATE, ETC.. for $55 shipped??

IF you looking for the lights to have a bluish tint to them, well yes. But these are not "real" Xenons. Real xenons are H.I.D. Many company's exploit the name Xenon.

Real Xenon (HID), note the ball in the middle and the ignitor line on the side (also has a ballast box).



Wannabe Xenon, blue glass halogen bulb.

Not exactly.
Although most HID lighting systems use Xenon gas lamps, Xenon is a gas used in some lightbulbs. As a matter of fact IPF is using Xenon gas in the fatboy lamps. Although they are rated at 60 and 80 watt, they produce an opticle output of 150 and 190 watt.
As for the lamps the poster linked to on E-Bay you are most likely correct in your assumption that they have a purple-blue tint to them and are most likely junk.
