Default Rear Blinker issue

Apparently when I go to use my blinkers in my 2015 jku, both rear lights flash regardless of which directional I put on. Almost as if I was using the hazards, but the front is working normal. The only after market wiring done in the back is that I tapped into the ground and the park lamp wires to run for a new plate light. Other than that, it's all stock factory wiring. Any ideas?

Sounds like you may have tapped the wires incorrectly.

Disconnect the aftermarket wires, one by one, and see at which point the blinkers function normally.

I tapped the wires 7 months ago. Issue didn't present until yesterday.

It would have been nice to read that in the first post.

Oddly enough, disconnect your battery for 15 minutes, hook it back up and see if the problem goes away.
