Default Rear turn signals issue.

Have an 08 unlimited and for the past two year or so, the rear turn signals on both side continue to stop working. Replaced numerous bulbs and have replugged it about seven times for both sides and it will work for a couple weeks then again. Really guessing it's a problem in the lamp, so is there anything else to look at before I replace them completey with J.W. or Spyder's?

Do they both stop working at the same time?
When they stop working, do the front turn signals blink rapidly?
Have you checked for power and ground in the sockets, with a meter?
