Default Recon LED turn signals

installed my Recon LED turn signals and they blink very quickly..they will blink at normal speed for a sec or two but then go quickly.. all four work front and back but blink quickly..any body no if thats normal or not..thx

Yep it the computer detecting the bulb is blown. (This is false of course because of the tiny current draw of the LEDs.) The only way to resolve it is to put a "load" resistor on the left and right turn signal harnesses.

But I have noticed that since I've had the fast flash for the last 2 years it no longer bothers me and it definately catches the other drives eye much better than the stock flash pace.

You will need a 6ohm 50watt load resistor on each LED. One end of the resistor goes to the gound wire and the other goes to the power wire that's in the middle.

OK Great..thanks guys i appriciate the info, I thought I had deffective LED's ..i'm going to pick up the resistors today..
