Default Recon Turn Signals

Has anybody put in the resistors that come with the Recon turn signals. Im not a big electrical guy. Anybody have a picture of how they are supposed to be installed??

Ditto... I would like to get the LED front and fender lights but I dont want hyper blinks and shit like that..

they come with resistors but the directions are just kind of sketchy.

just chop the power wire OR ground wire and connect the resistor in the middle

yup, Its super simple had to do it on my motorcycle to prevent the warp speed death blink. Just solder them up and you should be good to go.

before you install the leds put some silicone where the wires come out of the led housing. My wires started to corrode after about two weeks.

definetly.. My recon fender lights did the same thing and got to the point that they corroded through. I called recon and they asked me to take a picture and send it to them and they sent me replacements! only one has gotten that bad but they sent me a new kit anyway so i have an extra one if the other goes bad.

Same thing happened with me. I never expected their customer service to be so good, but one phone call and a couple of pictures later and a new set showed up at my door. I put silicon on as well and not a problem since. I'm guessing it has something to do with the salt on the roads since everyone who wrote someting lives in a snow area and it happened in the winter.

I do love them and think they look great though.
