Does anyone know what he did wrong? What could make it better?

What exactly needs to be done to make his better? Or does that just depend on what your going to run? I eventually need something like this to run my kc slimlights, other future lights, and maybe a couple of other things. I just like his because he's got a video I can go off of to build one. Thanks

The concept of the video is the same for any size or need. But, you need to have a good ideal of how big of a system you need. The best option is to build it to exactly the size you need with maybe a little room for growth. If you build it to small, then you have to build another one to grow. And the bigger you build, the more expensive it becomes.

Ok I gotcha. Just gotta figure out what I will eventually have and what it will take to power it. With a little help I can figure that out I'm sure. Thank you

I have used a similar fuse block with relays all in a junction box under the hood. just about done. just need the main circuit breaker to arrive in the mail. |
Just have a bit more wiring to do. the wires from the switch panel have been run down the Apillar already though! :)

Ya I have. Just trying to understand what I have to do a little better. I'll read through it again

Attachment 399794
Attachment 399796 Attachment 399797 I did a hybrid setup this weekend and installed two of the Blue Seas on an aluminum plate bolted to an SPod control module mounting bracket. Used a distribution block and ground distribution block, both screwed to the top of the TIPM, to run one of the blocks constant and used an inline, 40 amp relay, to make the second box switched. Tapped the M6 fuse in the TIPM to switch the relay. Wished I had black 8 gauge wire for the whole thing; I thought the red and blue would look cool, but it looks messy throughout the engine bay. I'm going to put it all in flex loom ASAP to hide all of the colors. |
