Default Removing passanger seat will mess up air bag?

Read somewhere that removing the seat will mess with the air bag? I'm trying to install a 2m Kenwood radio under the seat and removing it would make my life WAY easier.
Any info? If I disconnect the battery will I be ok?
Thanks!

Ive never heard anything about this. I have taken out both front and rear seats, to bedline the interior, and havnt gotton any codes. I would recomend disconnecting the battery before hand and then disconnect the seat electronics. Then go in reverse.

Yup I've removed both my seats in my 10 Sahara two times. 1 for bed lining 2 for amp. Disconnected the battery both times and never threw a code.
