Default RER parasitic draw

I have a 2008 Jeep rubicon unlimited with the RER head unit. I have been battling a parasitic draw for a while now and have tracked it down to the radio. It draws around 3 AMPs after the Jeep “goes to sleep”. I have tested it while unplugging the radio and the amp draw dropped to around .6 amps. Anyone experience any of these issues? Is there a fix for the radio or do I need to buy another one?
