While it is now working, the stereo really sucks at streaming from an Ipod connected to the USB. No shuffle mode and it is so slow to browse. I have about 16 gb of music in the Touch. I'm probably going to go back to using a flash drive with only a couple of gigs of songs loaded on it.

Ok, I posted the above too soon. I realized on the drive home today that I hadn't tried using the voice commands. Much better that way. And, it does have shuffle, you just have ti turn it on by voice.

Anyone try this update on a 2012? I have the 130 on my new Rubi and my iPhone wont work from the USB. It does stream through bluetooth but sounds like crap. Bluetooth phone works great. I can check with the dealer but they probably dont have much info on the 12s yet.

I have spent the last hour messing with my usb connection and I figured out a work around. Once you connect you can go into iTunes on the phone and at the bottom right there is a button that you can click to switch to Dock Connector. It is set to UConnect which is what doesn't seem to work. Once on dock connector you can control iTunes from the head unit and you can also override and play Pandora through the head unit or any other audio source on the phone. Works great now. Just a pain to switch each time.

I have found that I have to disable Bluetooth if I want it to play music correctly from the iPhone. Sucks, but I use my iPod classic for my music.

Did mine the other day with the link provided above. And it work perfect.

I did ask my dealer service department they said Chrysler and Apple are having problems getting the right update to work. Well I guess we have it.

Thanks again.

That sounds like the way mine works, it has to do with the airplay function of the iphone it seems to prefer outputting audio through Bluetooth rather than the dock connector, its a minor annoyance for me.

I just tried this in my 2012 and about 10 minutes in, it gave me a verbal that the archive was not compatable.

No go for me.
