Default Reverse Lights?

Anybody using LEDs for reverse lights? If so, how do you like them?

I've been wondering if these 3157 LED replacement bulbs would be a real improvement:

virtualvillage.com/Items/002510-194?&caSKU=002510-194&caTitle=2%20White%20LED%203157%20Car%20Bulbs%2 0with%2036%20LED%27s%20Each%20for%20Brake/Turn%20Lights

For some reason that URL keeps getting redirected to a non-existent URL. If you get a page load error, check to make certain that the address is correctly entered. I found that "virtualvillage.com" got repeated sometimes, and that the ".com/Items" was changed to ".comitems". Manually correct the URL and you should find the bulbs. I hate website design that frustrates directing potential customers their way. :-(

i run a set of LED tail lights with LED reverse lights built into them on my TJ and while they are very bright, they really don't do that great to illuminate things behind me the way a standard bulb would.

I use the replcement LED bukbs in my stock housings. They are whiter light which is what I like. I happen to think they are a little brighter, but some on here may disagree.

Piaa makes some LED lights. You might look at those and see if you can fab something up? LED's won't shine very far (unless they are HID) so you may be better going with Halogens to get some distance...

I have Baja Design's small lights on my work truck, and you can see a L-O-N-G way ay night when you are backing up.. I'll do something on the Jeep once my rear bumper arrives...

Thanks for all the info. I will post some pics and opinions once I make a decision.
