I talked to a nice gal at Rigid this week about my problem of the D2 Drivings putting too much light on the ground right out front. She suggested I try a 10" E series bar in the combo spot flood pattern. They have the Dually LED, so not as many lumens, but she said still extremely bright. She said that for my needs (higher speed night driving on mainly straight two lane, looking for deer on the sides and great distance visibility), she thinks would be a perfect setup. She advised me to put the D2's on the A pillars and use them for offroading only, where I feel they're a perfect "flood light" meaning light all around, both wide and up and down. Just an FYI.

Just installed my set of Dually's, pretty awesome and very straightforward. Quick question though... Is the switch inside the cabin supposed to stay all the time? As in even when my Jeep is off and the key's not in the ignition? Or did I flip a wire? TIA

Wire is flipped, I did that too. It's an easy fix!

Default Install notes on switch location

Greetings - thanks for the GREAT post. Very helpful.

I have a Sahara and mounted my switch were the Rubi diff lock buttons are (but it's empty on saharas). Also - routed the switch wires from the firewall where the clutch cable normally comes through. It's covered by the factory on the inside with a sort of rubbery self-healing membrane. Made for a good route.
