Default rigid Dually D2 toggle switch install

rigid Dually D2 toggle switch install... how do I make the hole in the a pillar plastic? I have the plastic off, but not sure about drilling it. Anyone do this?

Anyone???? Its a big round toggle. I really like the PIAA ones better, as they just double sided tape to anywhere.

Just drill it man. FYI, start with a small bit first.

take off the nut ring and find a drill bit that fits snug in there, then drill the hole and put the switch through it. tighten the nut ring and you're good to go.

Unibits are made for this sort of thing, but not too many people have one in their tool drawer.
They don't "dig into" the plastic like a typical bit will.

Plan B: use a bit one size smaller than the diameter of the switch, then use a rat tail file to enlarge it to just the right size.

Harbor freight my friend you can get a set of 3 that pretty much anything you'll do for less than 10 bucks, they're great for plastic and thin metal.
