Default Rigid Fog Brackets

Hey guys, I just upgraded to TruckLites headlights and love them. But now my stock fogs have an ugly color to them compared to the TruckLites. So now I'm looking at putting a set of dually's in the fog light place. How many of you have done this? And what beam pattern have you used to that oncoming traffic isn't blinded and flashing you? Or are there other fog upgrades you have done? (Not looking for HID or the visionX fogs) Thanks in advance guys!

I'm planning to do the same thing. How do you plan on switching them (New switch or relays to the stock one on the stalk)?

Fog is thinner low above the road, that's why fog lights are mounted so low.
Yellow light penetrates fog better than white light, so if you want to use them as true fog lights, make them yellowish.

If you just want extra white lights, their location precludes spots, which are pretty useless when mounted so low above ground.
Either flood or diffused lights can be good, the choice depends on your intended use.
For relatively slow offroading, diffused lights will illuminate a wider area in front, and will be less 'blinding' for a spotter.
Floods will give narrower beams and longer range.

In order not to disturb on-coming traffic, simply adjust them.

There's a lot of info in this thread (Check posts 14, 21, 25) --

Another way is to replace the bulbs with LEDs, e.g. from REBEL -
LED Fog Light Upgrade for 2010-2013 Jeep JK (pair)

Or something from autolumination.com.
