Default Rigid vs Lightforce

Ok so two of the best companies for lights. One makes the original round lights, the other specializes in LEDs. With enough money for either set up, would you buy 35 watt HID 170 Strikers from LightForce, or a 10" E-Series bar from Rigid plus two D2s. For distance I feel like the HIDs would be better, but the LEDs would have better spread. Does anyone have input on this?

I have 2 LF 170 mounted on A-pillar and 5 LF 170's mounted on an MBRP lightbar. I ordered a Rigid 50" e-series, D2 driving, D1 floods w/BDF brackets for fogs and I also picked up a set of truck-lites this morning. I'll post back with pics of before and afters

The lightforce are GREAT lights and I've had zero issues with mine but the overhead wind noise from the 5 on top at highway speeds, the whole wack of wires to get them all hooked up and the overhead clearence I lost was an issue for me. The Rigids have a great overall look, they're easy to install, put out a ridiculous amount of light and the customer service has absolutely been phenominal...and I don't even have them yet. Rigid stands behind their product 200%, so I felt ok about shelling out a decent amount of scratch for the LED conversion. Time will tell though

Well even w/o HID could you get a pic of just the windshield lights shining down the road? I figure the HIDs could only perform better.
