I love the creativity you guys show here.
I have been thinking about some of the aluminum case Luxeon LEDs, they would be bright enough, tough, waterproof, last forever, but the downside is that one spot of mud could easily completely cover the LED resulting in zero output.
Going to do more research, but the cheapo driving/fog style lights would be an excellent choice for sure.



I've actually got a red 1 watt wide angle one coming to try as a third brakelight.
And they make a white 3watt wide angle model which may be perfect as a rock light, say 4 to 6 of them mounted under Jeep, I'll check out the possibilities when I get the red one.
