Default rocker switch label

Does anyone know the easiest way to label a rocker switch? I just put a simple rocker to control my Hella's to the left of the heater select switch. The rocker switch mounts on a small plastic bracket. I thought I'd print the words driving on the left and lights on the right. I'm sure word or paint might work. Thanks

if they are a Carling Contura switch you can go through Over the River and Through the Woods since they have the switch faces with labels screened on them for only a few dollars.

Default Contura Rocker Switches

I just finished installing a couple of Contura II switches. I really like them. They function well and seam very durable. They match the gray interior very well. I got the V1DAF66B model which has two incandescent bulbs. I used red lens actuators with the appropriate labels. I wired them so they dim with the dash lights. My only complaint is that the bulbs are still to bright. I am thinking about putting some tint on the back side of the lenses to soften them up. I could also put a resistor in line to dim it more. I am really glad I didn't get the LED bulbs. They would have been far to bright.

Take a look at this web site. They sell the rockers with the names already on them. Just remove the old rocker and snap the new one on your existing switch.

mudstuff.co.uk has them. I actually just placed an order today. They are across the pond but the sheet of labels was only like $13 shipped. Im just wondering how long it will take for them to get here.

I use a Brothers label maker I purchased at Office Depot. You can get a clear tape that prints black lettering. What I like about it is, I label my diffs and oil filters with the mileage and oil type and date. The labels stay on good as long as you clean the surface from oil and such. Anyway this works for me.

That's an awesome idea preciousmetal. I might get a little label-happy if I had one though. The while jeep would be a label.
