Default Running wire

So I am re-locating my license plate to my tire carrier. All is well except I want to run the cable through my bumper and this is proving a PITA Been following this write up:
https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...=license+plate

Problem is don't readily have a vacuum that can work and do not want to buy one. The hanger approach I have tried and failed any ideas?

If it is driveable while you have it apart , take it to the car wash and use their vacuum. I assume you are using it to fish the wire while attached to something like a ping pong ball? I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do.

Thanks, didn't think about a car wash. There vacuums are much stronger then the one I would buy anyhow

Well failed again. Going to try drilling some more holes to help run it. Any other ideas?

What are you using as string? Fishing line? Tie knots in it until it barely fits in the drilled hole. Basically make a monkey fist.

Tried it with fishing line. I think it is getting caught on one of the weld points.

Are you pulling it through a joint? All of mine were welded closed inside.

This is something I welded myself so some parts on on the inside of the weld are as nice as factory. I have sent a hanger though and can see it with a flash light, just can make it turn.

You could go to a hardware store and get a line puller (for running wire through conduit), they usually are made out of sprung metal and if you can get it started into the hole you want to turn into it will go. Some pictures of exactly what you are trying to do may help us make some better suggestions.
