It does ALOT more than the Iphone 4s anyways and is worth it even if it does not much more connected to the jeep.

I have apple products and enjoy them a lot, but i dont own an Iphone. The S3 has expandable memory, bigger screen, the phone photo gallery sync's with my online galleries automatically, and of course for me 4G. I love the fact that i can turn my phone face down and it will mute all my messages and incoming calls. Im an amateur photographer and I love the camera on the phone. The only complaint is the automatic dimmer on the screen.

 

Can u not turn the auto dimmer off?

The camera in the s 3 is better than most point and shoots now, another great feature is the face detection system which you can unlock your phone by face recognition, when you are looking at something on your phone, the screen will not dim and turn off until you stop looking at it. When you are texting someone, and you want to call that person, you just hold the phone to your ear and it calls that person. The build quality is actually very good, plastic is great for getting grip and dropping the phone. Bunch better than exterior glass and aluminum. With the android operating system you have limitless customization. You can have your weather, email, fb, twitter and more on your home screens and they update in real time. No having to enter the actual apps to get the info. The notification system is way ahead of apple in which they stole from android. If you update to iOS 6 you loose all Google related apps, including maps. You get the revolutionary apple maps. Do some reading on that debacle.

I can go on and on how Samsung products are better than apples. I have owned a lot of apple stuff and will not anymore.

 

Yea unfortunately I upgraded to the pos ios6 and greatly regret it!!!!!

A great setup for the samsung is using oryxmaps for topo off line mapping with your built in gps.

 

I agree man. Samsung makes good products and they are selling like hot cakes. This is why Apple sued them. Android is almost 70% of the market now, and Apple can't stand that. The thing is, every time Apple releases a new product, Android is already one step ahead. And probably always will be..

 

Well I traded in the iPhone and got a s3 last night. So far I am pretty impressed with ice cream sandwich and the phone. For some reason the Facebook app won't open pics or links that take you outside of Facebook app. Any suggestions?
