The nav. voice prompt volume on my MyGig is 12. When I increase it to 18 and push "save" the save indicator goes out. It operates on 18 while I am operating the vehicle but the next time I start up the vehicle it is back to 12 so it has not been saved. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Am I missing something?

 

Do you know what firmware you're running? I was having that problem with the versions before 9.713. I didn't test it with 9.713 as I upgraded to 9.715 almost immediately after installing that version and haven't had the problem anymore.

 

i have always had this problem with 9.516, 9.712, 9.713 and now 9.175 i do not know why, sometimes the volume holds okay for a couple of weeks though.

 

Mine came with 9.561 (built 1/08). It has never saved. Everytime the radio comes back on it is back to 12. I haven't installed a newer version because everything else seems to be working fine. What do you get with 9.715?

Gives you quite a few things, ability to turn on VR, faster map response, and a fix if you have the newer HD so it won't corrupt itself.

 

Has anyone had the dealer do the upgrade or do I have to get it from HB? My dealer told me they don't do the upgrade.
