Do you have to buy the expensive harness if you have the infinity system or can you just get the regular one?

Put this in the JKU, it's a Pioneer Nav system with a detachable touch screen. Love it!

It's been in for about 9 months when I started to get issues with sound, air bag light and error codes when at the dealer.

Swapped the cheap connector kit out for the PAC harness C2R-CHY4 and all seems to be good.

So if you do it or get someone else to, make sure they don't use a cheap connector for the harness.

very nice setup.

do you have any info on how the wiring was done with the cams? i want to install my pioneer double din in my jeep at some point, and i want a similar setup for backing up and one somewhere in a good spot for wheelin to help with the blind spot in the front.

Both cams connect via dedicated video connections on the HU.

Front cable runs on the edge of the engine compartment and then through the firewall and behind the dash.

Rear runs under the bumper and up into the rear tub then forward.

Need to keep cables away from heat as it can affect the units.

I will be mounting them a little less vulnerable when I replace the bumpers but this is where they are for now.

I have the JVC KW-AVX830. Double Din, touch screen, removable face. I hook my iPhone to it then use MotionX GPS Drive for gps. You should be able to do the same trick with any head unit though. There are several receivers now with Pandora support. If you have an iPhone or Android it is a nice feature.

I also replaced my speakers with the Kickers. Great upgrade for the money. I still need to replace the tweeters and add a sub.

I added a XO Vision backup camera. It has pretty much been destroyed while off-roading.

I dig 'em - no complaints at all.
I've got this same head unit in my mazda 6. Love it...except I wish there was an AUX on the face of the unit.
